Many times in my sleep i heard it. The heart drummed repeatedly against my ribs, desperately begging for space. It's cries were obstinate and inconsolable. The more I tried ignoring it, the more it would insist, to the point that it would wake me up. One night, I decided to stop ignoring it. I tried to visualize my heart, and as I did, a red agonized face flashed before my eyes. And be not deluded, the face was not disturbing, it was pitty worthy.
And so, in a fit of mercy and pain, I incessantly clawed at my chest. Doing so, I woke up with scratch marks all over my breastbone, hearing my heart getting slowly more and more quiet.
It has never woken me up again.
I have tried to intrepert this (and, to clarify, I wont include many intrepertations), but from what I have seen, the most likely cause for this is difficulties breathing in my sleep.
Though calm and playful, the presence of the friendly koi announce a troubling revelation.
